approximately the same position as when they are walking, not stooped
over but more straight out in front. Most cats like the Siamese
and white one at the top of the page are
10" to 11" high at the shoulder and will be most comfortable with the 4" pedestal.
The 2
1/2" pedestal would be the better choice for a pet
less than 8" at the shoulder. |

This original shallow 6" wide dish is designed specifically for cats for their wet food. With no corners for the food to pack into and the low turned in walls, the food stays contained and sensitive whiskers are not irritated.
It can also be used for small flat muzzled dogs such as the Pekingese.
Vets advise that pets should not eat from deep or narrow
dishes.
This dish is 3/4" deep, and on the 2 1/2" pedestal the dish stands 3 3/4" high. On the 4" pedestal it is 5 1/4" high.

These oval dog dishes were created mainly for "long
eared" smaller breeds of dogs such as Poodles, Maltese,
small spaniels and Lhasa Apsos. The long ears will hang
outside the dish. The sides are straight to help keep food
contained and the front is sloped to accommodate their chin
and beard.
Small Oval/Shallow at left is best for wet food but can be
used for anything.
4" wide, 6" long, 1 1/2" deep and and on the
4" pedestal stands 5 1/2" high.

Pedestals on the 5" dishes can be made extra heavy
if necessary for dogs if they are very rough eaters, but
generally they are heavy enough. The LB7 is a big heavy
dish, weighing about 2 pounds, please think about your
having to handle it before adding weight to the pedestal
of this one unless it's really necessary.
